Our Story
History & How We Got Here: 1981 – Present Day
Mosca Design is a proud provider of commercial Christmas decoration products and services
George Mosca began selling commercial Christmas decorations in April 1981 when he started working for a manufacturer on the west coast. In 1985 he began his own company, out of his garage in Raleigh, NC. George would call on cities, towns, shopping centers, and commercial venues in the Mid-Atlantic area. As business grew, so did the need for additional employees. The company went from 2 employees in the mid 80s to more than 10 by the mid 90s. In addition to Christmas decorations the company started to sell a more diverse product line to support our clientele. Pole Banners became extremely popular and gave us a strong, year-round product. In the early 90s, George sold his first few big, drive-thru light shows and the company reached new heights. Mosca Design began installing and providing on site support to more and more locations. Our sales team grew by more than double by the year 2000. Today the company supports more than 100 installations annually and provides products to municipalities, shopping centers, commercial properties, residences, and countless other businesses every year. Around 2013 the technical expertise of the company grew even further with the introduction of RGB technology. The team introduced their first in house RGB programmer and subject matter expert. Today, we program a number of custom light and sound experiences around the country. Mosca Design has continued to stay innovative with our product and service offering to meet the needs of our customers. As we grow, so do the dreams of our customers.

We can help you create a unique custom sequence using any of our RGB applications. Sequences can be synced with customer provided sound tracks or soundless if your application doesn’t require it.
